Job Description
The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for increasing general revenue via sales of product and services of the Centre\'s product line and for providing support to all Regional/Product Marketing Managers and Representatives by performing the following duties.
- Coordinate with Centre personnel to foster a spirit of cooperation, which enhances image as the factory designated training organization.
- Develop and implement a strategy for obtaining the maximum possible training business for the Centre by coordinating activities with geographically assigned Marketing personnel.
- Communicate with Centre Manager and/or Customer Support Manager regarding Customer scheduling to maintain Customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate daily, weekly and monthly activities with Centre Manager; (Annual evaluation conducted by Centre Manager and/or Director, Product Marketing).
- Coordinate with the Director of Corporate Communications regarding promotional materials and programs used by the Centre.
- Contact current Customers to maintain awareness of their needs, desires and level of satisfaction with training and training products.
- Provide specific information on services and product(s) enhancements to Customers associated with Centre, as requested by Customers and through mass mailing strategies.
- Contact prospective Customers to introduce products and their potential benefits to the customer.
- Coordinate with the editor of Checklist regarding publication of snapshots and articles of interest to Centre\'s Customers.
- Conduct market research on each Centre\'s aircraft programs
- Report Marketing departmental activity to Director, Product Marketing.
- Create/Maintain/Utilize Customer relationship management database system(s),
- Prepare and implement annual Marketing Business Action Plan.
- Prepare semi-annual Penetration Reports.
- Prepare weekly contact reports.
- Complete training agreements (sales contracts). Responsible for decision-making regarding pricing and negotiations with Customers.
- Provide project direction(s), set priorities and monitor staff achievement.
- Interface with other supervisors and/or managers, as needed.
- Complete Performance Appraisal documents (6 month, annual, promotion) and conduct Performance Appraisal conferences with employees.
- Travel as required to implement sales and retention strategies.
- Conduct on- and/or off-site enrichment seminars, as required.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Degree level education
- Strong background in product marketing which MUST be in aviation sector.
