Job Description
Leading Electronics organisation require an experienced Analogue Design Engineer to join their expanding development team in Hampshire.
Working from an initial requirement, the engineer must be able to produce implementation concepts and identify the optimum solution. The engineer will be responsible for defining detailed requirements, carrying out design and simulation, followed by testing. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the designed solution meets the system requirement. They will be expected to work within a multi-disciplined team and will be exposed to many cross functional aspects of the project, working closely with Software and Mechanical team members during system integration.
Travel to the US, Far East and Europe is likely to be a part of this role.
Required RF skill set includes Clock synthesizer design (up to 3GHz), PLL design, design and use of a wide range of RF components such as oscillators, mixers, splitters, attenuators, gain blocks and filters; design of bias circuits; wide band signal amplification and distribution; filter design using discrete components and printed structures; system level frequency planning and signal budgeting; use of industry standard design tools for simulation and modelling; use of schematic capture and PCB viewers, etc.
Required Baseband skill set includes Low noise amplifiers; ADC and DAC interfacing and conditioning; filter design; control loops; SMPS design is advantageous; use of industry standard design tools for simulation and modelling and PCB layout techniques.
